I'm a Professional‽

I'm working as an X-Ray tech now. Got a job at the biggest local hospital. 5 weeks of TRAINING! The place is very complicated, and I'm working PRN (as needed) basically filling in for people as they take vacations and call in sick. Radiology departments in hospitals are huge. They have people working in and with practically every other department. As a PRN I need to be able to fill in for any of them. So I have to learn nearly a dozen different X-Ray jobs.   It's a lot.

My mother asked me what seemed like a funny question.

How does it feel   to be employed   as a professional?

I'm honestly not sure what that even means!
It's never been a distinction I've ever considered.

A Job is a job. Different jobs require varying levels of education, skill, and talent, but these people are all still working jobs. I not sure I'm ever going to "feel professional". I don't think I'm wired that way.
